The beautiful clear waters surrounding the Isle of Man mean that the finest fish and shellfish are landed by local fishermen. Over recent times the Isle of Man Government has worked hard to ensure that the seas around the Isle of Man are protected so that the many diverse marine creatures can be preserved and enjoyed for future generations. My particular favourite is the Manx Queenie or Queen Scallop as its known elsewhere, but I do enjoy a nice piece of oily Mackerel for my supper or even some smoked Haddock in a tea time fish pie!
