Isle of Man Food

The food from the Isle of Man is probably best known for its Kippers, lovely smoked herring, fished from the waters of the Irish Sea surrounding the island. Over recent years the Isle of Man and its food producers have started to get their act together and have developed a bit of a reputation and its not surprising really. With the needs of the savvy consumer shifting towards better quality, traceability, sustainability, organic, shopping local and animal welfare, the Isle of Man is becoming the perfect place for a foodie! With it’s rolling hills, fertile land and clear surrounding seas combined with a diverse number of growers and producers, I think its fair to say that Isle of Man food is of the highest quality and packs a punch when it comes to flavour.
